Jeffrey Combs is one of cult horror and science fiction’s most recognisable character actors. He achieved horror-icon status as the obsessive scientist Dr Herbert West in Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator, later returning for Bride of Re-Animator and Beyond Re-Animator. His other genre classics include From Beyond, Castle Freak and Peter Jackson’s The Frighteners. Science-fiction fans also know Combs for his numerous Star Trek characters, particularly Weyoun and the Ferengi Brunt in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
