Meet Jay, who started Cosplay in 2016, attending my first con not in cosplay and never looked back since. The first costume was Mech Armour Batman from Dawn of Justice, followed by Negan a few months later. Negan was the costume I was best known for up to 2019, winning Best Villain twice and other competitions in many Comic con performances.
Cosplay has always been a means of escape for me, especially when life has delivered its struggles. Entertaining comes very naturally, I switch Jay off and become the character to give everyone the best experience. I’ll naturally take to the stage and involve everyone where I can. I don’t just love what I do, I live it! Every character I do, ill match the mannerisms, persona and impersonation. Overall, there are more than 100 accurate voices I can do of Celebs, Actors, Characters, Musicians, and even friends can’t escape me impersonating them, but they still stick around.
