An American actor, director, and producer (born January 24, 1970), Lillard shot to fame as Stu Macher in Scream (1996). He’s starred in Thirteen Ghosts (2001) and later took on the beloved role of Shaggy in the live-action Scooby-Doo films—continuing to voice the character across numerous animated series and films since 2009. Recently acclaimed for his portrayal of William Afton in Five Nights at Freddy’s (2023), he’s been hailed as a horror genre “scream king.” In 2025, it was confirmed that he will return to the Scream franchise for its seventh entry
