Miranda Otto is an acclaimed Australian actress best known to fantasy fans for portraying Éowyn of Rohan in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Return of the King.

Her character’s courageous confrontation with the Witch-king during the Battle of the Pelennor Fields remains one of the trilogy’s most memorable moments. Otto later returned to the role in an animated Middle-earth production.

She also portrayed Zelda Spellman in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, bringing a commanding presence to the supernatural series.

Her other major credits include Steven Spielberg’s War of the Worlds, Homeland, The Thin Red Line and the Australian horror film Talk to Me.
