We get a number of questions relating to where we are and how to reach us at events every year, so in an effort to help you before you attend, we have listed some of them here for you to peruse before the event to make your visit as stress-free as possible!

​WHERE IS THE EVENT BEING HELD?

The next Horror, Rock ‘n Wrestle Fest will be held on 22nd-23rd March 2025 from 11am until 11pm on both days at Bowlers Exhibition Centre, Longbridge Road, Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1SN, United Kingdom.

GET TO US BY LAND, SEA, OR AIR!

With excellent air links and rail and road networks, getting to Manchester and Bowlers Exhibition Centre from overseas or within the UK has never been easier!

TRAVELLING BY CAR

Bowlers Exhibition Centre (aka BEC Arena) is situated just 2 minutes from Junction 9 on the M60 and the same distance from the Trafford Centre. The centre is ideally positioned and is easily accessible for visitors traveling locally and nationally and is just 3 miles from Manchester City Centre.

Enter the postcode M17 1SN into your Satnav or Google Maps and you will be directed directly to the venue – It’s that easy!

TRAVELLING BY BUS

Bus service 272 stops on Ashburton Road West which runs across the end of Longbridge Road, with stops both just before and just after the road entrance. Once you have entered Longbridge Road, we are the SECOND right hand turning off the road, just before the bend. Click HERE to open a PDF timetable for the service. TRAVELLING BY TRAIN

Manchester Piccadilly Train Station is a major hub for National Rail Services from all across the United Kingdom. Once you have arrived at Picadilly you will be able to hire a taxi or an Uber from the foyer downstairs. Simply give your driver the postcode M17 1SN for their Satnav. TRAVELLING BY PLANE

Visitors who are traveling to Manchester Airport from both international and domestic airports will be able to hire a taxi or an Uber from the Airport Arrivals lounge. WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT OPEN?

Horror, Rock ‘n Wrestle Fest opens at the same time over the course of the weekend this time is as follows:

Saturday Entry: 11.00am
Saturday Closing: 11.00pm
​Sunday Entry: 11.00am
Sunday Closing: 11.00pm​

DO YOU HAVE CAR PARKING?

Parking at Bowlers Exhibition Centre is accessible from Longbridge Road, the member of staff in the security booth will point you in the right direction. Parking is available at a paid rate using our numberplate recognition system.

​DO YOU HAVE A CASH MACHINE?

Currently, there is no cash machine available at Bowlers Exhibition Centre, so we strongly advise that you bring plenty of cash with you on the day to make sure you do not miss out.

We also have card terminals at each guests table as well as in the photo areas where you can purchase photo ops, autographs , selfies, and COA certificates.

Finally, it is worth noting that the vast majority of traders accept cards as well as cash, but always check with the trader before purchasing an item.​

DOES THE VENUE OFFER DISABLED ACCESS?

Bowlers Exhibition Centre is mostly disabled-friendly for more information on disability access and carer ticket information please visit our DISABLED ACCESS page.

​WHAT FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

There are food and drink options available throughout Bowlers Exhibition Centre and the event itself with a very good selection at very good prices.

Absolutely NO food or drinks are permitted to be brought onto the premises by members of the public for Health and Safety reasons. However, if you have special dietary requirements or allergies, this can be overlooked if proof is provided. In this instance please contact our customer service team before your arrival by calling 0344 8000 410.

Phone lines are open Monday – Saturday 9am – 9pm & Sundays and Bank Holidays 10am – 5pm.


WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED FIRST AID?

If you have or witness a medical emergency during the event, please find, a member of the Bowlers Exhibition Centre staff or a For the Love of Horror volunteer who will assist you in finding medical care.

​DO YOU HAVE BABY CHANGING FACILITIES?

Baby changing facilities are available within the public toilet facilities.

CAN I SMOKE AT THE VENUE?

Bowlers Exhibition Centre has a strict no smoking policy, however, there are designated smoking areas outside of the venue.
