Alisha Weir is an Irish actress who gained international recognition in the title role of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical. She made a dramatic move into horror playing the title character in Abigail, portraying a seemingly innocent young ballerina who is revealed to be something considerably more dangerous. The film saw her star alongside Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens and Kathryn Newton. Weir’s combination of physical performance, comedy and horror helped make Abigail one of the film’s standout characters.
